The role of the Physician Office System Program (POSP) is to enable the use of electronic medical records by physicians to improve patient care and support best practice care delivery within Alberta's electronic health environment.

POSP needed a website that would educate and inform their audiences, engage them in technology and provoke interest in the use of electronic medical records and POSP solutions in particular. They were looking for a solution that was easy to manage and update but was robust and savvy enough to host podcasts, a video player among others - and was relatively quick to deploy.

Through the development of solid Information Architecture and an appealing design template and the rigours of user testing, they were able to deploy a meaningful and representative website that would inform their audiences and aid Physician's through their technology transition processes. In addition, their website better supports their image as a technology provider and creates a clear path of understanding a Physician's transitional process.

The result is a visually clear and intuitive website that allows physicians to learn more about electronic medical records and POSP, enabling them to make informed choices regarding integrating the technology within their practices.
